Rodda Yates - CEO
Yates is a 1989 graduate of Boerne High School. She then went on to Tarleton State University and received a bachelors degree in Accounting in 1993. Rodda began her career in insurance working for State Farm from 1993-1994 and Farmers from 1994-2004. In 2004, Rodda became an independent agent and opened her own agency. She now successfully operates insurance offices in Boerne and San Antonio, TX. Rodda also has a supportive family including her father and three children. Rodda is a devoted member of several organizations including the Texas Junior Livestock Association, BISD, and Independent Insurance Agents of Texas.
Sally Weaver - Commercial Account Manager
Mrs. Weaver is our new Business Commercial Account Manager with experience in the independent insurance agency system since 1985. Sally has extensive Commercial Lines Insurance knowledge due to the wide variety of clients she has worked with over the years. Her emphasis is on providing the highest standard of service as well as developing and maintaining insurance programs for customers which meet the needs of their changing business world. She also has a continued relationship with our many commercial carriers so that she can remain knowledgeable about the various products in the marketplace. Amber Young - Field Agent
Amber Young graduated from the University of Houston Clearlake in 2008 with a Bachelor's Degree in Education. She taught second and fourth grade during her career as a teacher. She then owned and operated a dry cleaning business in 2010 in her hometown of Santa Fe, Texas where she recently moved from. Mr. Jordan comes to Yates & Associates from a diverse background. Todd has been a Firefighter for the Lubbock Fire Department for 21 years, sold Real Estate for 13 years, and been a licensed Insurance Adjuster since 2002. He is the Commercial Accounts Manager for outside sales. Texas metroplex and panhandle are his areas of concentration along with New Mexico. Gary Uhl - Producer
Gary has 15 plus years of experience in the insurance industry. He has extensive experience in all Property and Casualty lines. Prior to insurance, he spent six years active duty in the Air Force, the highlight was being selected for a special assignment providing Presidential Support for Air Force One in Washington DC. Upon leaving the military, Gary joined the USAA insurance family and reached the position Executive Director in the Property and Casualty Company. In 2006, he joined The Hartford Insurance Company to become their Regional Vice President, successfully managing 8 states and over 200 employees in the Texas office alone. In 2010 he opened Uhl Insurance Agency and joined forces with Yates and Associates. Rodney & Sherri Yates
Rodney and Sherri Yates have been involved with Yates & Associates since 1997. Mr. Yates opened the first grocery store in Boerne, TX called Poor Boy Incorporated. In 1966 Mr. Yates spent his time with livestock and other agriculture projects then begin his career in insurance in 1976. Sherri Yates graduated from Shriner University in Shriner, TX with a Bacherlors in Accounting. Mrs. Yates spent her professional career working at Kerville Accounting Firm, Davis Stewart.
