Our Team
Rodda and her team live and work in San Antonio and the Hill Country, so they understand the needs of folks in Boerne, San Antonio and the surrounding Texas areas. They know that this drought we’re in causes more wild fires, hurricane rains can cause flash floods and scary tornados to strike without notice. The Hill Country is the Crown Jewel of Texas, but we do face our fair share of crazy weather events, so it pays to have the right insurance by the right insurance agent.
Rodda Yates - CEO
Yates is a 1989 graduate of Boerne High School. She then went on to Tarleton State University and received a bachelors degree in Accounting in 1993. Rodda began her career in insurance working for State Farm from 1993-1994 and Farmers from 1994-2004. In 2004, Rodda became an independent agent and opened her own agency. She now successfully operates insurance offices in Boerne and San Antonio, TX. Rodda also has a supportive family including her father and three children. Rodda is a devoted member of several organizations including the Texas Junior Livestock Association, BISD, and Independent Insurance Agents of Texas.

Sally Weaver - Commercial Account Manager
Mrs. Weaver is our new Business Commercial Account Manager with experience in the independent insurance agency system since 1985. Sally has extensive Commercial Lines Insurance knowledge due to the wide variety of clients she has worked with over the years. Her emphasis is on providing the highest standard of service as well as developing and maintaining insurance programs for customers which meet the needs of their changing business world. She also has a continued relationship with our many commercial carriers so that she can remain knowledgeable about the various products in the marketplace. Kristi Small - Commercial Account Manager
Ms. Small is Commercial Account Manger who joined our team in September of 2012. She is a proud graduate of Texas A&M University. Her career in insurance began in 2003 at USAA and continued at Marsh starting in 2008. She is our commercial service account manager which will provide excellent service to our clients. Michelle Pipkin - Commercial Renewal Account Manager
Ms. Pipkin is a Commercial Account Manager, joining our staff in February 2012. She began her insurance career at USAA in 2006. She has also worked in the independent agency side of the insurance. Morgen Bernhard - Producer
Morgen Bernhard is our Commercial Lines Producer, joining Yates & Associates in November of 2009. She is a licensed Property and Casualty Agent, responsible for new commercial business sales and accounts. Deanne Hallmark - Personal Lines
Deann's background ranges from home underwriting and personal lines of insurance. For more than 10 years Deanne gained experience as an underwriter for insurance companies in Texas and in Louisiana. Serena Goodman - Personal Lines Account Manager
Serena has been a licensed agent in both Property & Casualty and Life & Health since 2004. She also received her accounting degree from Hallmark

Amber Young - Field Agent
Amber Young graduated from the University of Houston Clearlake in 2008 with a Bachelor's Degree in Education. She taught second and fourth grade during her career as a teacher. She then owned and operated a dry cleaning business in 2010 in her hometown of Santa Fe, Texas where she recently moved from. After relocating to Boerne, Texas she decided to make a career change in 2012, when she joined Yates & Associates. Amber is a licensed agent, specializing in commercial accounts. Todd Jordan - Producer
Mr. Jordan comes to Yates & Associates from a diverse background. Todd has been a Firefighter for the Lubbock Fire Department for 21 years, sold Real Estate for 13 years, and been a licensed Insurance Adjuster since 2002. He is the Commercial Accounts Manager for outside sales. Texas metroplex and panhandle are his areas of concentration along with New Mexico. Ricky Murphy - Producer
Ricky Murphy graduated Lamesa High School in 1986. He attended South Plains College 1986-1988 and then finished his degree in Crops/Entomology at Texas Tech University in 1991. Ricky has an extensive background in the Ag. industry and as a fire fighter for the last 15 years. His uniquely blended background and drive for superb customer service will be a true assest to our customers.

Andrea Pearson - Administration
Andrea's background weighs heavily in the fire protection and safety industry and has gained her experience through corporations and with independent school districts in South Texas. Gary Uhl - Producer
Gary has 15 plus years of experience in the insurance industry. He has extensive experience in all Property and Casualty lines. Prior to insurance, he spent six years active duty in the Air Force, the highlight was being selected for a special assignment providing Presidential Support for Air Force One in Washington DC. Upon leaving the military, Gary joined the USAA insurance family and reached the position Executive Director in the Property and Casualty Company. In 2006, he joined The Hartford Insurance Company to become their Regional Vice President, successfully managing 8 states and over 200 employees in the Texas office alone. In 2010 he opened Uhl Insurance Agency and joined forces with Yates and Associates. Rodney & Sherri Yates
Rodney and Sherri Yates have been involved with Yates & Associates since 1997. Mr. Yates opened the first grocery store in Boerne, TX called Poor Boy Incorporated. In 1966 Mr. Yates spent his time with livestock and other agriculture projects then begin his career in insurance in 1976. Sherri Yates graduated from Shriner University in Shriner, TX with a Bacherlors in Accounting. Mrs. Yates spent her professional career working at Kerville Accounting Firm, Davis Stewart.
